CORNEL BIOGRAPHY
Cornelius Uche Ogar (born 30 May 1980), popularly known as Cornel is a music artiste, actor and model who hails from Cross River State in Nigeria, he is also a qualified vocal and choir trainer. He finished as the The Voice Nigeria 2016 runner up and winner of Star Quest 2006 with D’Accord, amongst other competitions he excelled in.
He is a graduate of Creative Arts (Music) from the University of Lagos and has done vocal and choir arrangements for notable musical artistes like Patoranking on “Wilmer” album 2019 with songs like ‘Black, ‘Heal the World,’ ‘Feelings’ ‘Celebrate Me’ amongst others. He has also been Chief Judge for various singing competitions including Untapped 2.0 by R2TV.
Cornel released his solo debut single “Smile Again” in December 2016 with a Christmas song titled “Africa/Naija Christmas” in 2018. He released his recent single titled “No Lies” in February, 2022. Cornel also has produced and sung over 250 jingles, he runs an entertainment outfit called Cresendo Entertainment.
